Vision and Core Values

Our Core Values:

We at GCI operate under the belief that all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender, are born free and equal in the eyes of the law; we believe that every person is born with equal rights, and that these rights can only be effectively enjoyed to the extent that they do not infringe on the rights and freedoms of others. We envision a future for Cameroon, and the world, where every person works to promote and protect the rights of all people; where every individuals rights and freedoms are equally protected by his or her government and community, and where democracy is not only a system of government—it is a way of life.

Our Vision for Cameroon:

We believe and are working towards building a Cameroon in which every person, regardless of gender, physical location or economic status, has access to efficient, reliable, and transparent justice, and in which corruption is not tolerated on any level of judicial or political systems, nor by any member of law enforcement. We envision a future in which local conflicts are solved effectively on a local level, through appropriate mediation techniques on the part of traditional councils, and in which favoritism and tribalism is a thing of the past. We believe in a political and judicial system that embraces diversity, and in which women play an active and integral role in every level of government—from local to national.
