In the event of Youth Day in Cameroon on February 11th, the Regional Delegate for Youth Affairs had arranged an impressive programme comprising a range of activities leading up to this day. GCI staff was present for the launching event – the official opening of the week-long activities – as well as the competitions taking place on Monday, February 10th. On this day several schools gathered on the grounds of the amusement park to compete in sports and dancing. During these events, GCI interns gave a short speech on the nature on Human Rights. In particular, we reminded the youth that it is their responsibility to get to know their rigths and stand up for these rights in order to better the situation of Human Rights in Cameroon.
